We are so glad that you have come to worship with us this morning! If you are new, want to get connected, and/or have a prayer request, please take a moment to fill out one of our communication cards located in the lobby and hand it to one of our pastors or any volunteer with a name tag. If you have any questions or want to know more about our ministry, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sunday, November 5
Earlier this year, Lighthouse elected Phil Kim and Timothy Park to serve the Lord and our church body as deacons. We will celebrate and affirm God’s call upon them and their family through ordination during our worship along with the elders of Binnerri Presbyterian Church.
Church, we have an exciting opportunity to serve the CHILDREN right here in the city of Richardson where God has placed us. Let’s give sacrificially and joyfully! You can drop off the following items in the boxes in our foyer:
-dental products (toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss)
-general hygiene (deodorant, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, hand soap, combs)
-other (#2 pencils, bandages, facial tissue, air freshener)
-clothing (polo shirts (white or navy, youth sizes), packaged underwear (mainly boys, sizes 4-20))
Kathy Hong, who has been faithfully serving as the director of Lighthouse Kids Ministry, will step down on 10/29. Please be sure to express your appreciation for all the wonderful ways she has blessed our children and families through her ministry.
Youth College Tour
For juniors and seniors who have not yet attended the tour, there will be a tour of UT Austin, Baylor, and A&M. Students must sign up with Pastor SeongSu by 10/22.

We are hosting a special event for all children from ages 0-5th grade. Online signup is available until 10/23 (HERE).
We believe that two commitments are vital to the spiritual growth of Christ followers: 1) a commitment to God and the Bible and 2) a commitment to significant relationships in the context of an authentic, Christ-centered community. Community groups are restarting for the fall with a potluck dinner next weekend. If you are not yet a part of a community group, check out our website for groups in your area (click HERE), and contact our coordinator, Young Hui Tewksbury (email@example.com), if you have any questions.
As Christ followers, we are called to not only share the love of Jesus in words, but also with our acts of service. One of the ways we would like to encourage you to show your love for those affected by Harvey is to give generously. You can do so by donating to Samaritan’s Purse (a non-profit Christian organization that serves the victims on site) by clicking HERE.
Theresa is recovering from her illness. Thank you so much for your prayers and love for the family. They still need our fervent prayers and helping hands in many areas. If you are interested in helping in any capacity (prayers, sending cards or books, delivering meals, giving rides to the children, visiting, etc.), the Chio family would greatly appreciate it. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have coffee and donuts every Sunday at 11:00am in the fellowship room. Come early and enjoy some fellowship with your brothers and sisters.
